Rob Hemsher, Owner.
Born on the SE coast of Florida then moving to Southern California, I have always been close to the sea. Diving, surfing and fishing have always been a part of my life. Now I get to do this for a job! I feel like one of the luckiest persons in the world.

Travelling extensively to fuel my quest for the ocean has helped make me the person I am today. There is so much to learn from other cultures and places that I have visited. Finally arriving in Kona, Hawaii I found my true love and now have the family I have always dreamed of. Our daughters Bella and Naia have the privilege of growing up in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Bridgette Hemsher, Owner.
Bridgette grew up in Southern California where she fell in love with the beach, with the sun and with watersports. Later at the University of Oregon, where she graduated with a Degree in English and Spanish, she became a SCUBA diver. Since then Bridgette has logged over 5,000 dives and has successfully achieved: PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer's certification, both PADI and SDI SCUBA Instructor's certification, 100 Ton Captain's certification, Lifeguard certification with PADI Medic First Aid Training, Surf Instructor certification, Massage Therapist training and is also mother of two very sweet little girls named Nai'a & Bella.

Both the Nai'a Kai and the Bella Rain Dive/Excursion boats offer customers a fast and comfortable ride to the dive sites. Ocean Eco Tours never overcrowds its charters, and each guest can enjoy plenty of shaded or sunny seating. The dives are never rushed and the personal and friendly staff offer their guests a safe, fun and laid back diving experience.

Our Location:

The Ocean Eco Tours check in and Dive shop is located at the Honokohau Harbor off Highway 19 just 2.2 miles north of Kailua Kona town and 5.1 miles south of the Kona International Airport. Our shop offers lots of free parking as well as a complete line of equipment for rent or to purchase to meet your SCUBA, surfing and other water sports needs.
