book, guided us to self-assist and overcome our individual
obstacles and difficulties in the water and then added
dozens of helpful hints along the way that demonstrated

I've
been to hawaii several times and always wanted to take
a (surf) lesson. I'm glad I waited and got you for an
instructor. I had a lot of fun that day because I got
up and rode almost every wave you set me up for. Without
your putting me at the right place and telling me when
to get up and giving me that little extra push I wouldn't
have had as much fun nor would I have rode as many waves,
If any.
I
hope to return to the Big Island again and hope you
are still instructing.

The attitude of your crew was a pleasure and, of course,
